Karah is one of my 2018 Model Squad girls! Karah is a Junior at Pascagoula High School. Karah is an amazing young woman! She is involved in the Student Council and plays soccer for Pascagoula High School. Karah loves to hang out with her friends and family, running, playing soccer, and shopping!

Here are few tips from Karah:
How would you advise someone else to prepare for a portrait session? "When preparing for your shoot, make sure to have at least 2-4 outfits to wear just so you can have more options when purchasing your pictures because you are going to love ALL of them when you get to go to your reveal ( It was so hard to pick because we loved them all ) If you don't know a "look" to go for, ask for help!"
Any tips on hair or makeup? "I say do anything that makes YOU feel comfortable & beautiful!"
I asked Karah a few questions about how she prepared and designed her shoot, and this is what she had to say!
What kind of look were you going for in the shoot? "During my shoot, I was going for a fun, yet sophisticated look! I wanted to do something urban (Downtown Ocean Springs), but also wanted something with a coastal and outdoorsy look (Gulf Islands National Seashore). Candace did an awesome job of helping me get that look!"
How many outfits did you bring and was it enough? Was it too much? Anything you'd change? "I brought 2 outfits for my shoot: A black romper and a cute blue jean tank top and some pink skinny jeans. Personally, I would have brought one more outfit just so I would have more options when buying my images!"
What was your biggest fear or worry about the photo shoot? What was the outcome? "My biggest worry was that I wouldn't do the facial expressions or poses right and it would look weird, but Candace is amazing and makes you feel comfortable whenever you're overthinking the poses and facial expressions."
What was your favorite part of the complete experience? "My favorite part about the shoot was being in front of the camera and having all the attention on me, and having the shoot personalized the way I envisioned it!"
