“Before doing this shoot with Candace, I never imagined myself being this adventurous behind a camera. I’ve always been super shy and conservative, but after seeing her work, I knew I wanted some of her shots. It’s artwork in the form of lingerie and beauty.
After I signed up, I will admit, I was still super nervous to take the plunge because that’s my impurities, my imperfections, out there for the world to see, but then I realized a part of this process is coming to terms with the fact that if you’re ok with your imperfections, other people will be too(if not then they don’t matter.) They may not even realize they are there. So after coming to terms with that- I was SUPER stoked!
Upon showing up, Candace greeted me at the door, gave me a hug and immediately made me feel like I’d know her all my life. Not only was she down-to-earth, but she was really easy to talk to and work with. It felt like I’d known her since high school. Next, I got pampered with my hair and make-up and was feeling and looking great when she showed me her studio. Everything just flowed so perfectly, nothing was awkward or weird, like I was told these things go. She gives you privacy when it’s needed, takes a great shot when she sees it, and even poses every single thing- from flowing your hair a certain way to pointing your toes.
Candace goes above and beyond to make sure you feel beautiful. Just Drop. Dead. Gorgeous! In ways you’ve never seen or felt before so you can get that self esteem boost you need to keep your crown straight and be the woman you’re designed to be!”
