Mrs. D's boudoir experience | Biloxi MS
Today I'm featuring Mrs. D, a stunning woman I photographed after my 3 month maternity leave at our studio in Biloxi, MS. This boudoir session was particularly special, as Mrs. D wanted to do this session for herself and her husband of 24 years!
Here what Mrs. D had to say about her experience:
What made you choose to do a session with me?
"This is something I've wanted to do for several years, actually. But this year a lot happened in my life, making me realize (1) life is short, (2) there is no such thing as achieving the "perfect body"- I'd been working years for that one, (3) I want a smoking, hot marriage with a man who can't keep his eyes and hands off me! I looked at SO MANY boudoir websites and photographers. I knew what I wanted. You were consistently delivering drop dead, sexy shots with women of every age, every size. It became clear you knew how to make women feel comfortable, feel sexy, and look ridiculously sexy. Everything I wanted!"
What fears did you have coming in?
"That it would be uncomfortable and awkward."
Did your fears ease after the shoot began?
"Oh yeah, within five minutes I was sweating. This was work. Who knew??!!! New respect for lingerie models."
Did you enjoy your experience?
"I did! I felt like a flipping Victoria's Secret model when I left! It was work, but it was fun. A lot of giggling between all the sexy poses."
What was your favorite part of the experience?
"Dressing up. Feeling sexy. Seeing the "sneak peek" shots. Even unedited, I honestly couldn't believe that was me! I'm so guilty of looking in the mirror and seeing everything that is wrong, but WOW. Candace has an amazing eye for what looks good, posing techniques, lighting, it's flipping magical."
Would you recommend this experience?
"Yes yes yes yes yes. If you need a self-confidence booster, if you need a fire started in your marriage, if you or your partner have forgotten what a FREAKING HOT BABE you are, DO IT. I'm a fourty-seven year old mom of three, married 24 years, and these pictures rocked my husband's world. Which is exactly what I intended. But I'll be damned, they rocked mine too. And you can't put a price tag on that."
