This beauty came to see me for a present for her husband to be! I have been waiting a few months to get to share these with you all! The best part of my job is getting the chance to watch my clients transform before my eyes; from walking in nervous and scared to breaking out of that shell and showing that amazing and confident woman that is on the inside! It is truly an amazing thing to witness.
"I booked my session not for me but for my husband to be. After having a baby, I would have never just do this myself. I knew whole-heartedly that he would love them. God bless that man for loving everything about my body even when I don't. This wasn't my first boudoir shoot(though it was my only successful one.) Growing up, I thought I was huge. I was wearing a size 3/4 and would point out every flaw I had. I had finally reached a point in my life where I felt confident enough to do a shoot. I went to the shoot, did 3 outfit changes, said goodbye to the photographer and was on my way. I never heard from the photographer again. I was crushed. Being in the head-space I was in, I thought the photos must have been so disgusting that she just couldn't bare to show them to me. I now know that she was unprofessional and moved away. I can't tell you how many times I wanted to come up with an excuse and cancel on Candace. Hell, even on the way to the shoot, I was thinking about bailing. I was so incredibly terrified. When I arrived, I was greeted by the sweet makeup artist Crissy. She was kind and asked me how often I wore makeup. She didn't just put on "boudoir" type makeup. She personalized it for me. She did this to ensure I was comfortable with my look while making me feel extra confident. Candace went through all of my outfits with me and even showed me tons of outfits she had brought for me too. I felt like I was just hanging out with a girlfriend! Candace has this presence about her that makes you feel as if you've known her for years! We started off slow in the shoot to ease me in but by the end of it, Candace was bending me and contorting me all kind of ways. I was sore! But it was so worth it y'all! When we met to go over my photos, I took almost TWO HOURS narrowing down my pictures. TWO. HOURS. I have never felt more confident! I don't look at the pictures and say, "I don't even recognize myself!" I look at photos and say, "Damn! For a mom, I'm still pretty hott!" I'm so glad I didn't bail on this! I didn't do this for me but I'm so glad I did!" -Mrs. G
